Mac A Tartan Tale

We're telling a slightly twisted Tartan Tale to celebrate holiday, in all its posh, punk, ancestral, anarchic, noble and naughty glory. Royal and raunchy, colours and patterns collide, fantasies come true, punk fairies take flight with enchanted new looks. Be transformed!

Peekaboo! Poking a little fun at the kinky part of the kilt, these incorrigible kits for Lips, Eyes and Face have some flasher fun with mirrored compacts, but remain dignified with proper M∙A∙C family crests. New giftables that prove to be seductive, cheeky, good fun.

Once upon a time a bonny lass was in a Scottish ska band. She couldn't just pick one look - punk or princess? - so she chose them all...fancy that! Her loot: the Lip, Eye and Brush Bags from A Tartan Tale, here for every girl who wants to arrive at the ball in flawless fashion, with everything she needs in nifty, handsome, heathery tartan modern mash-ups, trimmed in shiny patent. Throw on your favourite tartan frock (knickers optional) and off you go, perfectly ready to raise a ruckus!

This go 'round, our special project for Kids Helping Kids is Sir Teddy - officially knighted as the international symbol of KHK, at the pleasure of Her M∙A∙C Majesty! All part of the big plan, getting bigger every year: Kids Helping Kids is a tale we're thrilled to tell over and over. And for all the Bravehearts and beautiful souls that keep the M∙A∙C AIDS Fund flowing, we say, 'Tis Noble to Give. With every purchase of this gorgeous, grandiloquent world-clan collectible, you are helping to keep the coffers confident - because every cent from every M∙A∙C VIVA GLAM purchase goes directly to the women, men and kids affected by HIV/AIDS everywhere. It's our heritage, our proud moment...and yours too.

Givenchy: Blooming 2010 Autumn/Winter Collection

"Times are changing and the boundaries between the seasons are blurring.
Desires are merging and fantasies are being realised.
Harness the last of the summer heat when the skies are beginning to look grey and prolong the sensual pleasures and vitality of summer!
The orange that dominates Blooming is drawn from the energy of this resistance to winter.
It is a dynamic, invigorating flame that brings optimism and modernises other colours.

The Autumn-Winter Collection 2010 is a fresh, chic perspective that reflects the season.
A dreamlike metamorphosis in which colour is reawakened and blossoms.
The Blooming woman stands firm in her childlike wish to blossom out of season.
The Must-Haves of this collection, Le Prisme Visage Blooming and Le Prisme Blush Blooming, were inspired by this desire for rebirth and by my discovery of the work of a film-maker and painter, Takagi Masakatsu. His colours endlessly open out as they move with sensuality and energy, creating an impression of perpetual, random renewal.

Two of the new Le Prisme Yeux Quatuor harmonies, the new product representing the identity of the brand, whose harmonies evoke the work of ceramists in terms of their power over the material and the appearance of the colours, are associated with Blooming."

A wish for energy. A desire for light. A need for vitality.
Be Bloom!
